Scam Warning!
Some tips on avoiding scams:
No rush!
Best for Your safety to deal locally with people you can
meet in person.
Try to avoid wire service because they has NO buyer protection
offer. Anyone who asks you to use so may be a scammer.
If you are offered more than your asking price - it`s a SCAM!
If the buyer don't care much about the item, just the transaction
- it`s a SCAM!
Fake cashier checks and money orders are common, and banks
will cash them and then hold Your responsibility when the
faked check is discovered later.
Be cautious of emails requiring you to provide your personal
and/or banking information. Never give to anybody Your financial
information - bank account number, social security number,
eBay/ PayPal info and so on...
For your protection hide your email posting your Ad and don`t
post it in the body of your Ad.
Be careful when a seller or buyer is from overseas. Many
internet scams come from overseas. Be also careful when contecter
is on a "trip" overseas and must conduct business
from abroad.
Do NOT be enticed to sell to anyone overpaying with a cashiers
check or a money order! If it sounds to be scam, it usually
is!
Please be careful in accepting any offer that seems as "off"
or "too good to be true", any overseas transactions,
and any sale that requires a seller to advance or refund any
amounts paid - in 99%.it`s a Scam!
